Event Rules

These rules apply to all participants, volunteers, speakers, vendors and visitors of events organized by Furosion o.z. By participating in the event, the participant confirms that they have familiarized themselves with the rules and agrees to comply with them.

The goal of these rules is to create a safe, friendly and respectful environment for all visitors regardless of age, identity, experience or community affiliation.

1. General Behavior

  1. Each participant is required to behave politely, respect other visitors, organizers, volunteers and event spaces.
  2. Any form of harassment, intimidation, discrimination, threats or intentional disruption of the event is not permitted.
  3. Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove a participant from the event without compensation in case of rule violations or inappropriate behavior.
  4. Participants are required to follow instructions from organizers, volunteers and venue staff.
  5. The event is primarily intended for young people and the fandom community. Behavior inappropriate for youth or public spaces will not be tolerated.

2. Safety and Comfort

  1. Respect the personal space of others.
  2. Physical contact including hugging, touching costumes or photographing up close should only occur with the other person's consent.
  3. Dangerous objects, weapons or realistic weapon replicas are not permitted unless organizers explicitly state otherwise.
  4. Running, pushing or other dangerous behavior indoors is not permitted.
  5. Organizers may restrict access to certain spaces if necessary for capacity or safety reasons.

3. Minor Participants

  1. Participants under 18 years of age attend at their own responsibility and the responsibility of their legal guardian.
  2. Organizers may require consent from a parent or legal guardian for certain activities.
  3. Organizers are not responsible for minor participants outside event spaces or outside the official program.
  4. Participants under 15 years of age may be asked to be accompanied by an adult.

4. Photography and Media

  1. During the event, organizers or authorized persons may create photographs and video recordings for documentation and promotional purposes.
  2. Participants have the right to refuse photography or recording of themselves.
  3. Publishing photographs or videos of other participants with the intent to mock, harass or damage their privacy is prohibited.
  4. Organizers recommend respecting the privacy of other participants even outside event spaces.

5. Clothing, Costumes and Fursuits

  1. Costumes, cosplay and fursuits are welcome.
  2. Clothing or accessories containing hateful symbols, extremist content or inappropriate explicit content are not permitted.
  3. Organizers reserve the right to ask a participant to adjust their costume or change if its appearance is not appropriate for a public or youth event.
  4. Participants in fursuits or large costumes should be mindful of safe movement in the spaces.

6. Alcohol, Drugs and Smoking

  1. The use of illegal substances is not permitted at the event.
  2. Alcohol consumption by persons is strictly prohibited.
  3. Organizers reserve the right to remove persons under the influence of alcohol or other substances if their behavior disrupts the safety or comfort of others.
  4. Smoking and use of electronic cigarettes is permitted only in areas designated by the venue operator.

7. Artist Alley and Sales

  1. Vendors and exhibitors are required to follow organizer instructions.
  2. Sale of illegal, dangerous or explicitly inappropriate content is not permitted.
  3. Vendors are responsible for their products, prices and financial transactions.
  4. Organizers are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
  5. Organizers reserve the right to refuse or remove a vendor whose content or behavior is not in line with the character of the event.

8. Hygiene and Cleanliness

  1. Participants are required to keep spaces clean and dispose of waste in designated areas.
  2. Intentional damage to spaces, equipment or property of other participants may result in removal from the event and possible compensation for damages.
  3. Participants in fursuits or costumes should pay attention to hygiene and safety given the temperature and physical strain.

9. Online Communication and Community

  1. The same rules of respect and safety apply to official Furosion online spaces including social media, Discord servers, Telegram groups and other community platforms.
  2. Organizers reserve the right to remove content or restrict access to persons who violate community rules.

10. Final Provisions

  1. Organizers reserve the right to modify or update rules as needed.
  2. In case of serious rule violations, a participant may be restricted from entering future events organized by Furosion o.z.
  3. If you have questions, concerns or do not feel safe, contact organizers or volunteers.
