Volunteers

We're looking for enthusiastic people to join our staff team! BlavFF takes place on August 10, 2026, and you can be part of it - this time from behind the scenes.

What You'll Do

• • Help with attendee registration (checking tickets, handing out name tags)
• • Guide attendees and provide information at the info desk
• • Assist with the programme (workshops, discussions, costume & fursuit competitions)
• • Fursuit lounge support - providing water and assistance to fursuiters and cosplayers
• • Setup and clean-up of the venue at the start and end of the event

What You Gain

• • Be a key part of the first festival of its kind in Slovakia

Training & Support

Before the festival, you'll take part in a short online or in-person briefing (approx. 1 hour) where we'll go over the programme, assign roles, and explain safety rules. A coordinator will be available throughout the day, so you'll never be on your own.

Requirements

• • Age 15 - 35 years (if under 18, we need a parent or guardian consent form)
• • Availability on Monday, August 10, 2026 and willingness to attend a prep meeting
• • Responsible, communicative, and proactive attitude
• • Respect, tolerance, and an open mind - that's the absolute foundation
