Competition Rules BlavFF 2026

By registering for a competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to these rules.

Chapter 1

▾

1.1.These competition rules govern all competitions organized as part of BlavFF 2026.
1.2.By registering for any competition, the participant confirms that they have read and agree to the rules.
1.3.All competitions require prior registration through the organizer's official forms.
1.4.The organizer reserves the right to reject applications, modify categories, merge them, or cancel them in case of low participation or organizational reasons.
1.5.The organizer's decisions and voting results are final and cannot be appealed.

Chapter 2

2.1.Participants may be persons who reach the age of at least 13 years no later than the day of the event.
2.2.Persons under 18 years of age may participate only with the consent of a legal guardian.
2.3.The organizer may request confirmation of legal guardian consent.
2.4.Each participant may submit only one competition application per competition.
2.5.Participation in multiple different competitions is permitted, provided the schedule allows it.

Chapter 3

3.1.Winners of all competitions are determined by voting of BlavFF attendees.
3.2.Each attendee may vote only once per competition.
3.3.Voting may be conducted electronically, physically, or a combination of both, as determined by the organizer.
3.4.Vote manipulation or attempted fraud results in disqualification.

Chapter 4

4.1.The competition is open to fursuits (full or partial), handmade costumes, cosplay costumes, and other costumes with manual or commissioned production.
4.2.Each participant may have only one competition application in this category.
4.3.Maximum performance length is 2.5 minutes.
4.4.Group performances are permitted without limit on the number of members.
4.5.Props are permitted as long as they do not pose a safety risk.
4.6.Use of pyrotechnics, sharp objects, and dangerous items is prohibited.
4.7.Smoke effects, light effects, and similar technical elements are permitted only with prior organizer approval.
4.8.Performances must not disrupt the event or endanger participants or attendees.

Chapter 5

5.1.Permitted categories: digital illustration, traditional art, photography.
5.2.Works must be created by the participant themselves.
5.3.Commercially commissioned works are not permitted.
5.4.The work may have been previously published or be fanart of existing characters or brands.
5.5.Recommended theme is animal or furry theme. Use of the Finley mascot is recommended but not required.
5.6.Works created fully or partially using generative AI are prohibited.
5.7.Each participant may submit only one competition entry.

Chapter 6

6.1.Participants are required to behave respectfully towards organizers, judges, and other participants.
6.2.Failure to comply with rules may result in disqualification.
6.3.Non-participation without justification may result in restrictions on participation in future competition editions.

Chapter 7

▾

7.1.All competitions may be photographed, recorded, and publicly streamed.
7.2.By participating in a competition, the participant consents to the processing of personal data to the extent necessary for organizing the competition.
7.3.Recordings may be used for documentary, archival, and promotional purposes of BlavFF and Furosion o.z.
7.4.The organizer ensures data processing in compliance with applicable legislation and GDPR.

Chapter 8

8.1.The organizer reserves the right to modify or supplement the rules in case of organizational need.
8.2.Interpretation of the rules belongs exclusively to the organizer.
8.3.These competition rules take effect on the day of their publication.
